The workshops 2010-11

Since 2002 the CDM organizes in Rome a longer training course for teachers and music teachers working in nursery and primary schools, entitled "Orff-Schulwerk - Elemental Music and Dance Education". Since 2007 the course is realized by CDM in collaboration with the University of Rome "Tor Vergata".

The course is shaped in such a form so as to respect the guidelines for teacher training courses given by the Orff-Schulwerk Forum, Salzburg.

Regularly included within this course are workshops given by teachers from the Orff-Institute, University "Mozarteum" – Salzburg, Austria, or belonging to the Orff-Schulwerk international circle.

Organization 																										

Spoken languages: the workshops will be given in English.
If necessary, there will be a translation into Italian.

The workshops have a duration of 10 hours.

Each workshop costs 95 euros.
Payment is due at the beginning of the course.

It is advisable to wear comfortable clothes for movement and dance shoes (or proper socks or barefoot)

All participants will receive hand-outs and a certificate of participation to the workshop.

The CDM is accredited by the Ministry of Education as a teacher training institution.

How to reach us:

Buses: from Termini station take the bus number 36 or 84
Underground: from the station "ponte Mammolo" of the line B (metro B), take the bus 341
In both cases get off at the bus stop "Vigne Nuove / Lumière"
From Via delle Vigne Nuove turn to the right for Viale Pasinetti.
Going down on Viale Pasinetti, via Amleto Palermi is a road on the left.
The gate of our venue is immediately on the right after a football field (there is no number on the gate).
Follow the path and get to the staircase: the CDM venue is on the first floor.
