He acquired the Diploma in Classic Guitar in 1991 in Italy at the Conservatorio “Santa Cecilia” in Rome.
From 1987 to 2001 he perfomed more than 200 concerts in Italy and in foreign countries as a soloist in chamber ensemble (Roma, Firenze, Perugia, Parma, Doha, Abudabi, Rodi, Athen).
With his group “Quartetto Chitarristico Ars Nova” he recorded the CD “Recital a quattro”.
He has won some national and international guitar competitions (Loreto, Massa, Gaeta) and has taken part in some charity fund raising television programmes (Thelethon, Rai International).

In 1992/1993 he attended the first national two-years course on the Orff-Schulwerk Methodology.
In the following years he attended many workshops about Orff-Schulwerk by international teachers.
In 1997 he attended the Summer Course “Music and Dance education Orff-Schulwerk” in the Orff Institute, Salzburg.

He has been President and music teacher (guitar, ensemble music) at the CDM onlus – Centro Didattico Musicale, Rome since 1996.
He is coordinator of the activites of the instrumental section.
He has been working as external expert for Elemental Music and Dance Education in various nursery and primary schools.
From 2006 to 2008 he collaborated with the “Educational” area of the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome where he carried out a project in collaboration with CDM, to create awareness about recyclable waste collection among children.

He is a teacher trainer in the one-year course on “Elemental Music and Dance Education according to the Orff-Schulwerk Approach (120 hours) for music teachers who work in nursery and primary schools, organized by CDM onlus with the University of Rome “Tor Vergata”.

Since 2007 he worked in foreign countries:
• he has been a guest at the Chengoung Educational Counsulting Service in Hangzhou - China – where he carries out courses about the meeting points between the Orff approach and the Maria Montessori Method. He repeated this experience in both 2008 and 2009.
• He has been guest in Chapulco – Mexico – where he has worked with children from 8 to 12 years old.
• He has been guest at a Morges – Switzerland – at the “Atelier du Fa Perchè” where he did a course about the meeting points between the Orff approach and some cognitive music learning aspects.

He conducts an intense activity of music education training for music teachers and classroom teachers, mainly on the subjects:
• Elemental Music and Dance Education (Orff-Schulwerk approach)
• Ensemble music for percussion and traditional instruments
• Arrangement and elemental composition in music education
• Developing the musical ear: teaching methods and procedures

In 2004 he started a two-years course on counselling and in november 2006 he got the first level Counselling Diploma. In this couse he learnt how to deal with interpersonal conflicts and how to build and lead a group, according to the vision of Carl Rogers and of Humanistic Psychology.
