Ari Glage

Ari GlageAri Glage is a freelance rhythm educator and percussionist.

He studied music and movement education at Mozarteum University (Orff-Institute, Salzburg) in the years 1987-1991.
At the same time he has acquired a wide experience on the theme “rhythm” (among others he has studied brasilian percussion with Dudu Tucci).

For twenty years he has been teaching elemental rhythms and ethnic percussion (brasilian/african) with children, teen-agers and adults.

Since 2003 he has been leading a three-years training on “rhythm pedagogy and integration through drums” in Salzburg.

From 2000 to 2003 he has completed the training for TAKETINA rhythm pedagogy with Reinhard Flatischler (www.taketina.com).

Ari teaches at international teacher training courses and Orff-Schulwerk courses.

Since 2006 he teaches at the Orff-Institute, University Mozarteum, in the area music - movement – speech.
